Question of the day

What do you think the potential problems are with giving or sharing personal login information? When do you think it is okay to share this information? Why?

People can try to still your account or say something that you would have never said in a million years. I think its okay to share the information when you are either telling it to your parents or your girlfriend or boyfriend (that's if you think ya going to last) it just in case you forget it they can tell you.

Question of the day

Why do you think that Netiquette is necessary for safe and secure online communication? What happens if someone breaks the Netiquette guidelines or social rules?

Because if you use netiquette people are going to treat you the same way. They going to think that you are not a treat to them so they not going to bother you.So someone breaks the netiquette rules then they are for a lot of trouble with their peers.

Question of the day

How does being friendly effect you at school, at home and in cyberspace?

Being friendly helps a lot;u get to make a lot of friends when you are nice. Some people if you are nice to them they will be nice to you but if you are not nice to them they going to treat you the same.

Question of the day

What do you think about people who say unkind things to others using a computer? How would you feel if someone said something mean to you on the telephone, in an email, or in an online discussion? Is there a difference between the telephone and the computer?

To me people who say unkind things to others using a computer is a punk because they know they can't say it in the persons face so they say it using a computer. Some people get more confident when they on the computer then when they in real life. People that do stuff like that are just plain sweet not tough but sweet because they don't have the guts to say it to someone else in their faces. Some of them probably say those stuff just to make them look good but if it was them that was getting harassed by someone else they wouldn't look good would they.Plus some people do that because they not being treated with respect so they decide they shouldn't be the only one treated like that so they do that to someone else.

If someone said something mean to me on the telephone, in an email, or in an online discussion i would tell them to come say it in my face if they so tough. But I wouldn't say that first because I have to have netiquette.I would first delete the comment and ignore the person but if they keep sending the message I'm just going to tell them to come say it in my face. I'm not going to talk bad about them or make fun of them because that's scooping down to their level and I learned better from my parents and teachers.I'm not a person that is mean or anything so i would never talk bad about someone if they talk bad about them because to me words doesn't matter.

Yes there's a difference between the computer and the telephone because some people change when they online then when they are really talking with their voice with you. Some people only write bad stuff about you on the computer so other people can see to make fun of you also. While when they send a text or talk to you on the phone no one else but you is going to see or hear what they said.

Question of the day

What do you think you should include or not include in your online profile (Google Profile) for this class?

I think you should include your name, age and where you from but u shouldn't include where u live or your phone number.

Question of the day

Do you think that parents should spy on their kid's online life? Is this good parenting or an invasion of privacy?

To a point I think its a good thing that parents should spy on their kids online life just so they can keep them safe from danger. But to another point I think kids should have their privacy while they online. So its a good thing and a bad thing.
