What is better than doing something that you like and learn from it; nothing that is. Even if they get addicted to some of the games at least they are learning.

No, lessons shouldn't have a greater emphasis on broad skills because children can now use their smartphones for information. Yes, it would kill children's creativity because it's just knowledge that we can learn from Google. If the children just learn the dates and figures then then they won't be using their creativity at all. It's information that anyone can get just from a click of a button. If we were to revert back to teaching methods from the past then there won't be any reason that new devices are being made. Reverting to the past will feel weird and many new information that we now know won't be available for us to grasp. If we were to revert back then what's the whole point of the new technologies. Many new things are being learned from new technologies so why revert back to the past. If you want to teach basic skills and the skills that employers and colleges want all you have to do is to help the young people with interpersonal skills, inquiry skills, the ability to innovate. We need these skills we will both know the basics and what many employers and colleges want. Employers and colleges don't want student or people that doesn't know about today's technology. If you are still stuck in the past then there's no need for them to want you.

Yes, I believe that good looking websites have better information because the person that created the website took their time to make the website look good. Facebook discipline: Is this just creative parenting, or just mean? Good parenting or abuse? What do you think? I believe that this is good parenting because those kids should be punished for posting bad comments on facebook. If the students didn't want their parents to do these stuff then they should be as polite as they would be to anyone of their parents. I don't believe that they would want someone to post those comments about them so why would they post it about someone else. So the parents are doing their jobs and are good parents for doing what they do.

How could you — or do you — use them on your own for learning? If you have a cellphone, do you agree that it can distract you from your schoolwork? Having cellphones as educational tools is not a bad idea. Just like tablets and other educational technology cellphones have internet and can have apps that you can use as educational use. Many teachers believe that students use cellphones just to text others. However what we actually can use cellphones for is if we need help with a vocabulary word or something like that. Yes, most students use their cellphones to text each other but we do also use it for educational use also. What teachers can do is let students use their cellphones to use the internet for vocabulary use. They can also tell students to use it for the lessons that they were teaching. Most cellphones that students have are 4G or 3G which aren't any different from the tablets that the school give us to use. If we can use the tablets as educational use then cellphones should also be used because they aren't any different. Yes, having a cellphone in school can distract you from schoolwork because many students abuse the use of cellphones. Every minute they get text so their mind will be only on the text not the work. I believe that that is the reason why many teachers stop the use of cellphones in school. Also some students even use their cellphones to call other people. However what they should know is that not all of us abuse the use of cellphones.

I believe that it will improve the way we interact with touch screen devices because we can actually feel what we touch. Do You Spend Too Much Time on Smart Phones Playing ‘Stupid Games’? OR Do You Spend Too Much Time on School Computers Playing ‘Stupid Games’ instead of doing your work?

I don't spend time playing on smart phones or on school computers "playing games". I believe that playing on those electronic devices aren't good for the brain. If someone wants to get smarter playing games isn't the right choice. Some students are addicted to video games; for example they would come to school and play games a whole period everyday. I really don't know what they get out of it but they feel as though it helps them out.
I remember when I used to be addicted to playing video games when I was in the 9th grade. I stopped myself because it's not worth me failing my classes. That's what happens to everyone that are game addicts. They spend so much time playing games that they forgot that school even exist. Playing games doesn't do anything for anyone but mess you up on reality.
I'll get it if they play games when they are at home or play only a little but not everyday. I asked one of my friend why does he play games he told me that he play it because they are fun. Yes, games are fun but they also aren't good for the mind. Games poison he mind and those who play games non stop won't make it far.

A battle that I think isn't worth fighting in the school would be the uniforms. No matter what you do you will never win.

The maximum punishment that the school should give should be a Saturday. I don't think that they should be to strict with it. It's not a good idea to actually challenge the dress code because there's no way in which you will win.

You log into a classroom computer and find out that the person before did not log out of their account. What do yo think you should do? Is it acceptable to look at their photos, read their emails, go through their documents, etc.? What would you want someone to do if you left your account open?

If I found out that someone forgot to log out then i would log out for them just like I would want for someone to log out for me. Looking at other peoples stuff is invading their privacy.

You want to use smart folders because it helps you find things that you are looking for. Not only that but it arranges them by type and subject, The smart folder is a unique part the side bar.

It would want to use more then one window because it can actually help me with either with my research or if I want to do two things at once. Working with multiple windows can train you to do more then one thing at once.
