What are some of the problems that you face as teenager as a result of Social Networking? This would include using social networking sites, like Facebook and Twitter, Instant Messaging, SMS and or Text Messaging. How does interacting 24/7 affect the way you think and communicate? Does social media affect your school work in a positive or negative way? Do you agree or disagree with the author of this article that Social Networking affects both your writing skills and social manners? What do you think? Make sure to defend your position.
-As a teenager I haven't faced any problems as a result to social networking because I use Netiquette. I believe if you don't do anything that is worth someone being mean to you. When I text I make sure I be polite even if it's someone who I don't know, I ask politely who it is. I believe if you want someone to be nice to you you should be nice to everyone else. When you do that it keeps you from having a big argument and maybe leading to a fight.
-Interacting 24/7 doesn't affect the way I think and communicating because I always keep the fact that I'm trying to graduate out this school to go to college to get a good job. I don't ever let texting or talking to people on Facebook mess up my education. My education is worth more then anything else, I want my parents to be proud of me in a couple of years not be ashamed. Social media is just a thing I do when I'm bored or need something from someone. Matter of fact I mostly go to Facebook to ask for the homework not to waste my time talking to people. I believe I can talk to people when I'm done with school and I graduate college and or high school.
-Well I believe that social media can only affect someone's writing skills and social manners only if that person doesn't have the mentality to overcome that. If they know that there is a time to be serious and that there is a time text and talk on Facebook then they are good. I believe that it does mess up only the ones that don't set their minds on a task because if they set there minds on the task of passing their classes then there's nothing to be worried about.I see where the autor is coming from because many teens do get sidetracked when it comes to social media. That is something theat they need to stop though.
